Spring Break 2022

I love spring break! It is always a good time to take a break and refresh my mind for the end of the school year. I also love not having an alarm for a week!

I started spring break with a trip to Greenville, SC to see the Frozen broadway show. It was so good! I laughed and cried and thought it was a good show. My cousins and my mom went with me.

Then I traveled down east to visit the girls. This year I can't be with the girls on our birthday so I went early to celebrate our birthday with them.

Mable is the newest edition to the family.

She really thinks she needs to be touching you if she is near you. So sweet!

I got an early birthday present - bath bombs! They are almost too pretty to use...almost!

We went out to eat to celebrate the birthdays. I love these soon to be 12 year olds.

Jennifer's azaleas were just beautiful. I had to snap a picture.

The end of spring break was Easter Sunday. I love getting a new Lilly dress to celebrate.

Disney Day Seven - Magic Kingdom

Good morning from the Polynesian Resort. I loved seeing this view every morning!

Friday was our last day at Disney and we ended the trip spending the day in Magic Kingdom.

Dumbo is always a must do ride for me at the Magic Kingdom.

If you look real close you will see Belle in the background.

We rode Barnstormer and lost some Minnie ears. When we asked the cast member to get them she told us at the end of the night we could come back. Honestly that was disappointing.

We rode The Little Mermaid.

And took pictures in front of the castle.

Harper took this as a surprise for me!

We watched the Hall of Presidents and walked around Adventureland.
We left Magic Kingdom to do some shopping at the Grand Floridian. They have a bath bomb shop with bath bombs that smell just like the Grand's lobby!

I was excited that we got reservations to Ohana for dinner. I have always wanted to eat dinner there. The food was okay. In my opinion it wasn't worth the price of the meal.

But I had the best time with my favorite girls!
After dinner we stopped and got a Dole Whip and watched some fireworks.

It was a foggy night!

The next morning we packed up and headed home.

We had another great trip to Disney. I loved the Polynesian. I had a Dole Whip everyday and loved making memories with the girls. I know someday soon they will not want to spend time with their Aunt Moe so I am soaking up every minute I can with them!

Disney 2022 - Day Six - Epcot

On Thursday we headed over to Epcot to enjoy the Festival of Arts Festival!

This trip we were excited that the monorail was open to Epcot and we got to ride it to Epcot. One short walk and ride we were in Epcot.

Epcot opens later so our first stop was a snack! Jennifer was feeling better and was able to go with us. I did get up and purchase some passes to ride the new Remi ride and the Frozen ride.

I love a chocolate chip cookie and this cookie did not disappoint. Sadly I couldn't eat it all and didn't have a bag to put it in to save. Next trip I will put some ziploc bags in my bag so I can save some of the snacks!

We walked around and rode Figment and Soarin. We grabbed lunch in the Land building before heading over to France to ride Remi. On our way we saw Mary Poppins! I love the Mary Poppin movies.

We continued to walk around Epcot exploring the countries and found Minnie Mouse!

It was nice not having to wear masks outside this trip. We still had to wear them inside and on rides.

I love these girls and love being able to share these trips with them!

We have been waiting for Space 220 to open for the past two years! We were lucky to land a reservation to blast off into Space. Hadley loves space so this was a fun place for her!

Since it was January it got dark early. The Epcot ball was beautiful reflecting on the water.

We stayed all day in Epcot! We were tired but overall had a wonderful day. The weather was lovely and the crowds were low. We got to ride Soarin twice and ate some yummy food. We also rode the new Remi ride in France. It was so fun! I loved not having to wait in the long line. The purchase was well worth the money.
This day was one of my favorites.

Disney 2022 - Day Five

Magic Kingdom is my favorite park. The castle makes me happy!

We stayed at the Polynesian which is a monorail resort. We were able to do our security for the Magic Kingdom before we got on the monorail. So we were able to walk right into the park. That is one of the best perks!

Jennifer was still not feeling well so we decided to spend a few hours in the park before having a resort day.

I visited DISNEY WORLD during the 25th anniversary year and I was excited to spend some time there during the 50th!

Mickey! He is so cute in his 50th anniversary suit!

After meeting Mickey we watched a parade. Then smiled for some pictures with the 50th castle.

We ventured to Tomorrowland and the girls wanted to drive the cars. This was the first time I have ever been on this ride. It was not the smoothest ride but the girls really enjoyed it!

After our drive we decided to ride the Peoplemover.

We rode a few more rides and then decided to head back to the resort for dinner, swimming, and resting.

Dole Whip number five for the week. If you can't tell Dole Whips are my favorite Disney snack.

During our 2021 trip to Disney they were not doing fireworks. I have always enjoyed the fireworks so Harper and I went back to the Magic Kingdom to watch the new fireworks show. We found a good spot to watch Tinkerbell fly. She flew right over our heads!

Two happy girls!
