Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2014

Turning the corner and seeing the castle for the first time. We were so excited to see the kid's reactions. I promise they were excited!

I was beyond excited to go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with the girls and everyone else too! When you go to a "party" at Disney World, you can enter the gates at 4:00 pm. The parties are from 7:00 pm - 12:00 am. We actually got there about 3:45 and they let us in! Our first stop was Main Street USA to take some fun family photos! (I know these are my friends but I really consider them to be family!)

The whole group ready to take on the world.

We also had to stop and take pictures with Tinkerbell.

After Main Street USA we headed over to meet Ariel!

The kids had pillowcases for the characters to sign and Ariel was the best talking to the girls about them. Since Ariel is a mermaid she doesn't really know about human stuff so she had a lot of questions about them. At first she thought the pillowcases were hats. Then she asked if it was for holding collections. The girls just stood there in awe of her. They loved it!

We also met Cinderella and Rapunzel that night.

We rode a few rides but then went to find a seat for the Christmas parade. This parade was so neat. The floats had scents with them. So we got to smell Christmas trees, cookies, and candy. We saw Anna and Elsa, Olaf, and Kristof. We even saw the main star of Christmas...Santa!

For the pre parade entertainment we had a small dance party in the street! The kids loved it!

It also snowed on Main Street most of the night!

I think Cinderella's Castle at Christmas is the best!

I think the kids enjoyed their first night at Disney!

The Christmas party has a lot of special activities that happen throughout the night. They serve hot chocolate and cookies throughout the park. The Wishes (what Disney calls their fireworks) is a Christmas theme. They were spectacular. The parade is just for the Christmas party and they do it two times that night. We watched the first parade with the kids and then they called it a night. We had to get up early the next day for a Princess breakfast. My mom, brother, and I stayed in the park a little longer to watch the fireworks.
