June 2017

I started the month of June with a trip to Southern Pines to visit my friends. 

Kim and I took a Pure Barre class at the new studio in Southern Pines. And I made her take another PB picture with me! 

On the trip we took a lot of selfies! 

and we made sure we checked off the things to do....

I got my 40th birthday gift from my sweet friend Lillie! 

In June I finally got to meet this sweet little girl, Madeline. 

Madeline is the daughter of my first assistant manager, Kayle and she is the first Palm Village Augusta baby!! 

Mom and Dad surprised me with a visit to Augusta. We ate at my favorite restaurant in Augusta, Farm Haus Burgers! 

In June I also found out that my store won a contest with Lilly! 

Harper and Hadley were models for my store's instagram page! 

We had a Pop Up Print in the Lilly world so I squeezed myself into the original Lobstah Roll to celebrate the occasion! 

I came home Father's Day weekend and got to go to the sweetest wedding. 

I posted this on my Instagram in honor of Father's Day.

Happy Father's Day to my dad. The man who told me that sitting on his front porch was like taking a vacation everyday. Thanks for all the countless vacations and stories from the front porch!

My dad sent me home with some collard greens.

Pure Barre Augusta started a new summer challenge...40 classes in 60 days. 

I was behind from the beginning. 

I posted a "naked" selfie to help out a friend with Rodan and Fields. 

I celebrated National Wear Your Lilly Day with my favorite Lilly Ladies!!

I love these three ladies so much! 

I love this little girl too. She is my favorite Little Lilly shopper in Augusta! 

This girl right here makes me smile! I love (loved) having her as my sidekick in Augusta!

May 2017

In May I became an official Junior Leaguer in Augusta! 

I made a lot of new friends and learned a lot about the work of the Junior League in Augusta. 

 We got new arrivals and I played model. 

 My sweet employee Candace graduated from Augusta University and we had to take a picture to remember the day! 

 We held a blogger event at Palm Village Augusta with Rachel from the Something Delightful blog. Rachel helped us style our customers for the day. I love reading blogs and Rachel's is one of the blogs I read everyday! 

 I headed home to celebrate Mother's day with mom and my Mamaw Mary. She told me she had blind eyes so she could not look at the camera or smile. She would be mad if she could see this! 

In May I got to visit my favorite place - the Grove Park Inn Spa! I spent the day with some of my best friends to celebrate my 40th birthday! I plan to celebrate all year!

My ABFF (Augusta BFF) and I had blow outs before my trip to Naples! 

 Our Resort buying trip was in Naples, FL and I got to stay at a Ritz-Carlton for the first time!

I got back to Augusta and had our Splash into Summer event! This beach mat was such a fun gift with purchase! I had to try it out for my customers! 

 My favorites came to visit me in Augusta for Memorial Day!

I think they were over the picture taking at this point! 

Kim and I headed to take a barre class on Sunday morning!

Naples 2017

In May I headed down to Naples, Florida to buy for Resort 2017 for Palm Village Augusta! The Resort buy trip is always a fun trip because we get to visit a resort town. It really helps you get in the mood to buy resort clothing for your store!

The first night we got to stay at the Ritz Carlton! I was happy because it was my first time staying at a Ritz and I got to add to my 40 for 40 list! 

This dress was my favorite purchase for Spring! I think I wore it once a week. 

When we checked into our rooms they offered us a glass of champagne! Cheers to Resort 2017 and a fun time with my Palm Village Family!

We checked in and headed to the spa! I had one of the best massages I have ever had at the spa! 

After the spa we headed to the beach and had dinner!

I love these girls. We were missing Lillie from Mandeville that night. She was still on her honeymoon! 

When we got back to our room our beds had been turned down and we had chocolate! 

The next day was a beach day! Alex and I had on the same print and one of the ladies at the Ritz asked us if we shopped together! HA!

Later that afternoon we checked into our hotel for the buy.

The sunset was so pretty and I figured that watching a Naples sunset could be a 40 for 40!

The next morning we were up at 7 am to eat breakfast. I wore my vintage Lilly shift for the second day of work.

We worked all morning on writing our orders and then boarded a plane to fly home. I was lucky to get to have Lillie on my flight back to Georgia! 

Little did we know that this was the last time that we would all be together. I am sad that we do not have a picture of the five of us together.
