American Girl 5th Birthday party

Happy Girls!
Last Friday Hadley and Harper celebrated their 5th birthday with a party at the American Girl store in Charlotte. They got to have lunch with their Bitty Babies and friends and several adults! The girls really like playing with their babies so this seemed to be a perfect fit for a party. The birthday girls were beyond excited about the party!

 Hadley, Harper, and Mckinley.
Don't they look excited to be taking a picture? Bless them...I took way too many pictures!

Their friends and dolls ready to party!

Mary Morgan and Mckinley playing the telephone game.
(These are Hadley and Harper's cousins)
This picture is a little out of focus and blurry but still a sweet picture of the sisters.

Harper was clearly excited about her party!
Hadley posing for the millionth picture that day!
Bitty was happy to be part of the celebrating!

What party is not complete without cake!

Myles was a good sport to put up with all this girly girl activity.

Sweet girls and sweet friends

Jennifer, LouAnn (The girl's grandmother), and Hadley and Harper.

I wanted a picture of the girls and me but Harper was not wanting to pose anymore and Hadley looks like she is over it too. Oh well. I will try again next time!

Right before bed matching with their babies!

I am so thankful that I got to celebrate another birthday party with the twins. I am going back to visit for our actual birthday! I still can't believe that they are turning 5!

Lilly for Target

The countdown is on! Lilly Pulitzer for target launches on Sunday, April 19th! I have been pretty excited about this launch since I first heard about it. I have plans to be at a Target at 8 am on Sunday! A few weeks ago Target released their Lilly lookbook. I have a few favorites and I can't wait to see them in person!

These are a few of my favorites..
 beach chair
Wouldn't this basket make a great dirty clothes hamper?
fun Lilly pillows to brighten up a room
I need this headband for working out.
I love the high waist bottoms of this swimsuit. I need to plan a beach vacation soon.

Everyone needs some fun hair ties for the summer!

Do you have any favorites in the Lilly for Target collection?

throwback Thursday -twins turn four!

Last year the girls turned four! They celebrated with a cupcake party at a cute cupcake shop! I wrote about it here.

Today I am driving down to spend the weekend with the girls and tomorrow we are celebrating their 5th birthday with a party at the American Girl store in Charlotte. Jennifer sent me a message last night that said, "I asked Hadley if she was excited for her party and she said she was MORE excited about seeing Aunt Moe!" My heart melted.

Have a good weekend!

a trip down memory lane - the twins turn three!

I wrote about the girls turning three here.

Thank you for reading about my adventures with Hadley and Harper! I used to scrapbook a long time ago but I haven't touch a scrapbook since 2010! I am thankful to have xoxo, aunt moe as my digital scrapbook!

a walk down memory lane - twins turn two!

Today I'm looking back and remembering the girls second birthday party. When the girls were two they loved Elmo. So they decided they needed to have an Elmo party. I think this was one of my favorite parties! Jennifer held this party at her neighborhood park.

The girls loved to swing at this age.

Elmo was everywhere!

Look at these sweet faces!

a walk down memory lane - twins turn one!

April is birthday month! It's my birthday and the twins birthday! This Friday we will be celebrating the girls 5th birthday with a party at the American Girl store! I thought it would be fun to walk down memory lane and look at the girls birthday parties!

Their first birthday party had a Peter Rabbit theme. Jennifer always has a theme and puts a lot of time and effort into planning.
Sweet girls!

They each got a small cake for the typical smashing and eating of baby's first sugar!
It didn't take them long to figure out what to do.

Just some of the small details put into the party.

Happy girls and their mom.

These are the only pictures I have with the girls from that day.
Hadley seems to be happy and Harper...
was singing "It's my party and I will cry if I want to!"

This party was a lot of fun and such a special day!

Pure Madness at Pure Barre

At the beginning of March I set a goal to complete the Pure Barre Pure Madness Challenge. I accepted the challenge and planned my month out to take 20 classes in 31 days. I know you might be thinking that taking 20 classes in 31 days sounds easy and not a big deal but it is a big deal. I take Pure Barre in Asheville and it is 30 miles away and a 40 minute drive from my house. Plus classes are not always at a time that works with my schedule! I decided that I would take a picture of each class I took so I could document the Pure Barre challenge. This was a way for me to hold myself accountable.

Day 1

 Day 2
#puremadness
This was my first 6 am class ever!

Day 3
Class 3 - check and a fun new nail color to celebrate the challenge.

 Day 4
Happy day 4 of the challenge!

Day 5

Day 6

Day 7
Lucky number 7!

 Day 8
So true!

 Day 9
Nine classes down...eleven to go!

 Day 10
Halfway!

Day 11
Love an early morning class!

Day 12
I am very fortunate to have a boss friend who was very supportive in my efforts to complete the challenge!

 Day 13
Only seven more classes!

Day 14
This class was hard! I might have wanted to cry in the middle of it!  Lindsay is such a fabulous teacher so I just sucked it up and continued!

Day 15
Just 5 more classes. The end is in sight!

Day 16 and 17
After each class we got to chart our progress! Love this!

Day 18
I tucked the Monday blues away.

 Day 19
One more class!

Day 20
Pure Barre challenge complete!

I'm not the only one excited to be finished with the challenge!

I have shared my love for Pure Barre many times on this blog. I love completing every challenge they have. I like having a goal and working towards it. Also having friends and teachers who are cheering you on and encouraging you every step of the way is pretty awesome!

March was a very challenging month for me and having this challenge gave me something positive to focus on. Pure Barre was a place I could be successful. I also started back on Weight Watchers and between Weight Watchers and Pure Barre I lost 6 pounds this month!

Pure Barre has made me stronger and I have learned that I can do anything for 10 more seconds. I would love for you to meet me at the barre!
