American Girl 5th Birthday party

Happy Girls!
Last Friday Hadley and Harper celebrated their 5th birthday with a party at the American Girl store in Charlotte. They got to have lunch with their Bitty Babies and friends and several adults! The girls really like playing with their babies so this seemed to be a perfect fit for a party. The birthday girls were beyond excited about the party!

 Hadley, Harper, and Mckinley.
Don't they look excited to be taking a picture? Bless them...I took way too many pictures!

Their friends and dolls ready to party!

(These are Hadley and Harper's cousins)
This picture is a little out of focus and blurry but still a sweet picture of the sisters.

Harper was clearly excited about her party!
Hadley posing for the millionth picture that day!
Bitty was happy to be part of the celebrating!

What party is not complete without cake!

Myles was a good sport to put up with all this girly girl activity.

Sweet girls and sweet friends

Jennifer, LouAnn (The girl's grandmother), and Hadley and Harper.

I wanted a picture of the girls and me but Harper was not wanting to pose anymore and Hadley looks like she is over it too. Oh well. I will try again next time!

Right before bed matching with their babies!

I am so thankful that I got to celebrate another birthday party with the twins. I am going back to visit for our actual birthday! I still can't believe that they are turning 5!

throwback Thursday -twins turn four!

Last year the girls turned four! They celebrated with a cupcake party at a cute cupcake shop! I wrote about it here.

Today I am driving down to spend the weekend with the girls and tomorrow we are celebrating their 5th birthday with a party at the American Girl store in Charlotte. Jennifer sent me a message last night that said, "I asked Hadley if she was excited for her party and she said she was MORE excited about seeing Aunt Moe!" My heart melted.

Have a good weekend!

a trip down memory lane - the twins turn three!

I wrote about the girls turning three here.

Thank you for reading about my adventures with Hadley and Harper! I used to scrapbook a long time ago but I haven't touch a scrapbook since 2010! I am thankful to have xoxo, aunt moe as my digital scrapbook!

a walk down memory lane - twins turn two!

Today I'm looking back and remembering the girls second birthday party. When the girls were two they loved Elmo. So they decided they needed to have an Elmo party. I think this was one of my favorite parties! Jennifer held this party at her neighborhood park.

The girls loved to swing at this age.

Elmo was everywhere!

Look at these sweet faces!

a walk down memory lane - twins turn one!

April is birthday month! It's my birthday and the twins birthday! This Friday we will be celebrating the girls 5th birthday with a party at the American Girl store! I thought it would be fun to walk down memory lane and look at the girls birthday parties!

Their first birthday party had a Peter Rabbit theme. Jennifer always has a theme and puts a lot of time and effort into planning.
Sweet girls!

They each got a small cake for the typical smashing and eating of baby's first sugar!
It didn't take them long to figure out what to do.

Just some of the small details put into the party.

Happy girls and their mom.

These are the only pictures I have with the girls from that day.
Hadley seems to be happy and Harper...
was singing "It's my party and I will cry if I want to!"

This party was a lot of fun and such a special day!
